How to Play Steal Or Die
The game's own briefing sums it up: grab the loot, wait for the exit, get out alive. Here's how each step actually works.
Steal the Loot
Press E to grab items. Each one shows its rarity, value and weight — rarer loot pays more, but the more you carry, the slower you run.
Manage Your Bag
Your bag holds a limited amount. Once it's full, the next item is carried in your hands. Hold F to throw what you're holding.
Hide & Stay Quiet
Hide in closets, unscrew vents or close doors behind you, and crouch with Ctrl. The monster hears your footsteps and your voice.
Or Be the Monster
In Entity Player rounds, one player becomes the entity and attacks with left click. In Entity AI rounds, the game controls the monster.
Upgrade & Rebirth
Spend cash in the shop (M) on sprint speed and stamina, unlock skills in the skill tree (V), and work through 10 rebirths.
